The EOCC took many weeks to narrow down the principles we want to guide our efforts. The following are those principles:

Principles of the EASTERN OHIO CONCERNED CITIZENS

We believe in the Founding Fathers’ vision of the American Spirit and that free people will protect and preserve this great republic. When “We the People” tell the government what it is allowed to do, “We the People” will remain free.

As a free and righeous people, We will:
I. Recognize that our unalienable rights are bestowed upon us by God.
II. Preserve, uphold, and defend the Constitutional Rights of Americans.
III. Encourage smaller government that is less intrusive in business and the personal lives of its citizens.
IV. Promote our responsibilities as citizens to preserve liberty and its blessings by reclaiming and re-educating ourselves and the community concerning America’s founding principles.
V. Promote responsible spending and accountability in government.
